After a year of development, this revolutionary barricade bag is ready for the ruthless United States PRS scene. Designed and made by our Viking brothers over at Drengr Precision, Sweden, this is the most forward-thinking barricade bag since the original game changer that shaped what the PRS is today.
The design is based on Drengr’s original Mjölnir bag geometry which was responsible for putting them on our radar and started this love at first sight relationship between us. The Mjölnir bag offered the best possible stability regardless of the barricade’s shape and design due to its novel shape and fill. The new heathen however takes it to the next level and further improves upon what they already had, which was the best PRS bag around.
The new unique asymmetrical hourglass shape of the heathen has several advantages. Not only can it be used in both directions, unlike a traditional bag but the bag provides a more consistent impression, which makes it easier to balance the weapon in the middle of the bag. Because the bag has a concave design, the bag locks both the barricade and the weapon together, which increases stability and allows a straighter recoil absorption. Because the wells have a less aggressive angle compared to W sacks, the stitches are not even nearly as stressed, which combined with a heavier – but still compliant – fabric means a sack that is exponentially more durable.
We destroy other bags regularly, which was what lead us to seek out something different and since our relationship started with them, based on our constant feedback, they’ve been able to make significant changes in the way barricade bags are made and to their design specifically addressing this. Due to these changes and commitment to continuous improvements (something we resonate with), we haven’t broken one yet.
The sack is only half the equation though and our proprietary heavy fill with added additives conforms to barricades and the rifle at the same time and holds onto the impression. Instead of only holding the impression while force is applied to the bag, our proprietary fill and additives mold the bag around the rifle and barricade and won’t release the mold until picked up and manipulated by the user. Resulting in more muzzle rise resistance and stability than other bags due to the cradle it creates around the rifle. Our proprietary fill and additives are also water resistant for field matches, so the performance of your bag won’t change when it becomes wet.

The Heathen bag is slightly smaller than the 1+1 game changer schmedium bag that most pro’s use as a secret weapon, and is a little larger than the regular schmedium bag and other comparable alternative medium sized bag offerings from other companies.
Current medium sized bags most companies make are around 8x5x5 inches while the new heathen boasts a more appropriate size of 9×6.5×5 inches, which has proven beneficial for shooters shooting in field style match conditions, shooters that run wider forends like a Foundation stock or forend attachments that widen the forend like MDT’s Baker Wings. The longer bag not only gives you better longitudinal stability and muzzle rise resistance, but the longer bag also helps with better mag clearance in field match conditions and conforms to wider flat barricades (like those used in skills stage two) far better than aggressively angled bags.
Whilst the new extra large bag is the same size as a 1+1 game changer schmedium bag, as requested by our pro shooters. They wanted something a bit taller and a bit wider for field matches where the shooting position is low enough you’d need x2 normal medium sized bags to get the clearance needed for the grip/mag of the rifle. The size of the extra large bag is 10x7.5×5.5 inches.

Double-stitched waxed sailcloth material. Clean regularly with soap and lukewarm water. Wax continuously as needed to protect the fabric and make it water repellent and increase barricade grip. Drop/spray some silicone into the filling to make it water-repellent and avoid clumping when wet.
Proprietary fill that conforms to barricades and the rifle at the same time better, while molding and locking the bag and its shape in place. Resulting with more muzzle rise resistance and stability than other bags. Fill is also water resistant, so performance of the bag doesn’t change when wet.
Heathen bags come either pre-filled with our special fill, or empty for cheaper shipping and customers that want to use their own lightweight or blended fill like Git-Lite.

Simply put, it’s a better shaped and more durable bag, with an innovative fill that molds the bag to barricades better and then locks the bags shape and fill in place, reducing muzzle rise and increasing stability and you’re at a disadvantage if you don’t have one.
The heathen is the result of the ongoing collaboration between Drengr Precision and Without Warning. Drengr Precision shares the same desire to constantly prototype and improve gear to give ourselves an edge over the competition. Better is always possible and with a bit of creativity and persistence and the Heathen bag with its game changing fill is the perfect embodiment of this philosophy.
The extremely aggressive concave design. Due to the shape of the heathen, the weight of the rifle pushes the bottom of the bag into the barricade, locking it in place and giving superior support and stability to the upper part of the bag. This and the shape gives you superior edge support, allowing you to utilize the full length and width of the bag. The black side is wider than the coloured side, designed with wider barricades in mind. Flip the bag with black side up and it conform to thinner barricades.
Unlike other designs the center channel is in the middle of the bag, making the angle of the cuts less aggressive, which flexes the bag and seams less – putting less tension on the seams and therefore less stress on the fabric. In combination with a more abrasion resistant sailcloth, it’s capable of taking hard use, longer. Projected lifetime of the product is several years (as long as the user continues to wax and care for the sack). Meaning in the long run it’s a cheaper alternative.
We have destroyed other game changing products in a single/few matches. We’ve never broken a Drengr bag.
The best bag with normal fill is still a boring, normal bag. The fill is the binder that provides the stability for your rifle – the bag is the vessel to shape and utilize the fill to its maximum capability. A lot of time and money went into researching different materials, blends and coatings to come up with a proprietary blend – one that Drengr only shared with us. The advantages are better lock down and conforming of media for that last percent of stability that reduces muzzle rise because it molds the bag to the barricade and then locks it in place, and hydrophobic properties that make the bag absorb less water in the rain.
All seams and craftsmanship come with a no-nonsense lifetime warranty. Fabric has a one year warranty which will cover premature wear. Keep in mind no canvas products are indestructible but these should last significantly longer than the competition.
Drengr was founded in 2021 with the aim of filling its own need to supplement hard to get American equipment according to high demand, high prices and low product volumes in Europe. The philosophy was, simple well-thought-out solutions result in a higher quality product. Due to active military employment outside of Drengr, those involved choose to remain anonymous as much as possible. The founder of Drengr specializes in military reconnaissance and competes in long-range shooting (PRS/Field Shooting) in civilian life and is part of the Sweedish PRS team for the world championships ie he wins matches.
Drengr is an old Norse word that describes someone who is incredibly brave, fights with dignity, is a warrior, or just a fierce bastard. (They’re Vikings, they’re badass and take pride in fighting like Vikings, as they should. We should all take pride in being dangerous men. Lord knows, dangerous men are needed now more than ever.

The targets used in the tuner series of videos are simply a .pdf file printed at the local printer shop onto a3 cardboard, download them below. The target is a 0.1 mil grid with 0.1 mil orange squares. They are rotated 45 degrees, so you have fine aiming points for shooting groups. We find this is much more consistent than shooting at circles etc.
